Bibles for Uganda
My name is Mukisa Joshua. By the
grace of Jesus am pastor in Eden Revival Ministry Bulenga Nakuwadde Wakiso District in Uganda. Am son of the late Pastor Elijah Nkuba and my mother Nakito Gladys Nkuba from village Gayaza Busiro North ,Wakiso District, Uganda. Iwas born in 9-oct-1982. In our family am second born so we are nine children eight boys and one girl. My father was painter even though some times he used to go in mission to preach God's word but my mom is peasant farmer therefore when I reached in age of six years old my parent took me to school. I remember by that time we used to walk by foot five miles to school and to get school fees was to struggle because some times they used to sent me back home to fecth fees but none was there. My parents tried in all ways to get fees. By then I was in Sunday school in church so God helped to complete my primary level in 1997.
In 1999 up to 2005 I completed my secondary level in that time. Me and mom we made bricks to get school fees, by then in school I was leader of born again students and we used to have fellowship during lunch time. In 2005 I joined pastor Bita James Oloo. He trained me how to behave as servant of God so time came I started working in town in washing bay (car washing) after there I worked as guide in loading taxis [16 passenger vans] at kasubi stage for two years. In such a situation I decided to go and be trained how to drive a vehicle. I made it and then I got a driving permit and I have been driving in so many different places here in Uganda.
Unfortunetly in febuary 2008 my beloved father died. I was just finished to be introduced by my wife to be in her parents. In 26-4-2008 I got favour before God and married my dear wife Christine. Then we started fellowshiping in Eden Revival Ministry, Nansana but still I had strong relationship with pastor Bita so when Brother Danny Macdowel met pastor Jimmy at Entebbe with a good intetion of training
young ministers so I was among the youth and training was so good. From then I got courage to serve God so we do missions in far areas as BIBLES FOR UGANDA .
I thank God for my mentor pastor BITA JAMES OLOO and brother DANNY MACDOWEL who have stood with me by giving me courage and all members of NEW TESTAMENT FELLOWSHIP INTERNATIONAL in USA.Therefore Am man of one wife and two daughters, a pastor to church, a minister with BIBLES FOR UGANDA, at same time a driver.Thank you and I wish you
gracious moment as we serve together in Christ. Mukisa Joshua [Pastor Joshua]

We also appreciate
funds dedicated to travel expenses for our missionaries, food for village
conferences, or anything that is in your heart. All funds will be specifically
directed according to your expressed wish. We do not use donor funds for
anything other than that which the donor intends. Every person involved in
Bibles for Uganda is a volunteer. There are no salaries, maintenance, or
operating expenses taken from donor funds. Our native missionaries are self
supporting men who take time quarterly to carry out their Commission to take
the Gospel into the highways and byways and compel all men to follow Christ,
and to distribute as many native language Bibles as we possibly can. We focus
on people involved in ministry to villages in remote locations. Danny
